Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone, born on 5 January, 1986 (pronounced as [diPIkaPaduko or [paDuko(pronounced as [paDuko]), is a famous Indian movie actress. She is mainly seen in Hindi-language films. There have been three Filmfare Awards have been given to her, which make her among India's most highly-paid actresses. Time Magazine ranked Padukone as among the top 100 Influential people around the world in 2018. They also gave her the TIME100 Impact Award 2022. Padukone had the honor of being the youngest daughter of tennis champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone was born and raised in Bangalore. She participated in the national championships as a teenager but gave up the sport in order to be a model. Then, she was receiving requests to perform in films. Her debut part as an actor was in the film Aishwarya, the Kannada title character. Padukone performed alongside Shah Rukh Khan a dual actor as a dual character in Om Shanti Om, her debut Bollywood film that earned her the Filmfare Award as Best Female Debut. Padukone got praise for her role as the main character in the romance Love Aaj Kal (2009), but this was immediately followed by a disappointment.
