Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor director producer, and vocalist. She's attractive and skilled actress that has inspired numerous Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. An array of highly successful initial appearances in popular television series made her well-known for her part in the character in Ally McBeal, where she appeared as Ling Woo. Her new-found fame was translated into roles on the big screen, in Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels as well as other movies. In Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an outstanding performance as Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii. Around the same time she was playing the lead role in a few films that failed at the box office, such as Rise: Blood Hunter. She then began to voice characters from animated films such as Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was a small role that did not have any effect. Southland was a highly acclaimed police show in which Liu appeared in on a regular basis and allowed her to be a renowned actor. Liu chooses her roles with utmost care so as to avoid being stereotyped in an industry with a lot of competition. Although she's embraced her heritage, she hasn't let them limit her as an artist.
