A mix between pop music and Reggaeton was released in the year 2017 by the Puerto Rican musician Luis Fonsi with Daddy Yankee. It has become the most streamed track at that period within a span of 6 months. The Billboard Top 100 in 2015 had two songs that were mostly Spanish and 2016 saw four. In 2017, during the height of Despacito's popularity, 19 tracks mainly in Spanish made it to the Billboard Top 100. In 2020, there will be 41 hits that fall into this category. Following Justin Bieber's bilingual remix of Despacito (2017) famous artists soon began collaborating with reggaeton musicians, such as Drake along with Bad Bunny on MIA (2018) as well as Madonna together with Maluma in Medellin (2019).
